Hi I am Melissa, founder of Darque and also a proud mother of two children 8 years and 16 years and have an amazing partner Jason who supports my every move. We just celebrated our 5th birthday in business!  Darque was established in February 2018 and it was my dream to always run a destination beauty business with everything under one roof. I jumped at the chance and  have never for one minute regretted it. 
We are the only salon of our kind in south Leinster and that is our dream.
The proof in the pudding is we have clients traveling from all over the country to visit us.

Our services are suitable for all ages. There's something available for anyone from 1 years old-100 years and this makes us very proud.

We are a very close team here at Darque. Our crew of 6 is made up of family, including my mother in front-of-house, and close friends so this is very special and contributes to the ambiance in our salon. We all have expertise under one roof : Tanning, hair, makeup, brows, lashes, ear piercing and now microneedling. 
It is  a modern salon with a twist and our clients love it.

Our salon offers many services that make us stand out and we offer amazing quality for even better prices giving the best service possible. We use state of the art tanning systems and give our customers the best service and products on the market. We have a blow-dry bar with fast paced 30 minute slots and we are open 7 days a week which is a unique service as most salons don’t offer Sunday or Mondays.

We offer festival hair also which is our statement and not something that is offered in other salons so we stand out. Keeping modern and upbeat is our motto. I launched my own magnetic eyelash brand in 2021 which are amazing and we can’t keep them stocked I am so proud of this as it was always a dream of mine.
